Garden Snail (Cornu aspersum)

This Garden Snail (Cornu aspersum) appeared quite happy in its self-made bed of vegetation as it nonchalently shredded my hosta. Although I liked the colour version, converting it to black and white gave it a kind of charm, if snails can be charming at all?
